World Jeep Subaru will be hosting an Organ Donation Registry and Blood Drive Event. The New Jersey Sharing Network is a non-profit organ and tissue procurement agency dedicated to raising awareness about organ and tissue donation. Looking to permanently “close the gap” in New Jersey, the NJ Sharing Network is always seeking new members, but finding those members isn’t always easy. We are hosting the event to give people a chance to see the great things this organization is trying to accomplish as well as sign some new members up for the network. In conjunction with the NJ Sharing Network, the New Jersey Blood Services will be on premises brandishing the big blood bus on our lot. Blood donations will be collected from donors willing to spare some time and a few pints.
At least two of our customers have benefited from the NJ Sharing Network as recipients of organs, and are alive today because of it. These organizations are helping to keep our community healthy; we want to help them to continue to do so. We hope through this event we can get more people involved in helping to “close the gap”. The event will be held October 22nd from 12 to 6 PM, save the date and save a life!
